Missionary & Pastoral Care Services
Godspeed Missionary Care strives to provide services to
missionaries, individualized to the particular circumstance and
location.
We have experience in providing on-site medical, counseling,
and pastoral support services to missionaries serving in Russia,
Ukraine, Latvia, South Africa, Mozambique, Spain, Colombia, and
India. The majority of our work is with English-speaking
missionaries, but we have the ability under certain circumstances
to provide similar services to missionary nationals. There is
no charge for any professional service. Mission agency
responsibility for travel expenses will be negotiated as God leads
and provides funding. Whenever possible, we prefer to visit the
missionary on the field, bringing a team capable of providing a
spectrum of medical, counseling, and pastoral care. However,
each request for service is considered individually as regards
needs and the availability of specific personnel.
Since its inception in 1994, Godspeed Missionary Care has been
privileged to offer the following services to missionaries
and mission agencies:
- Visitation with the missionary on the field
- Biblically-based counseling to individuals, couples, and
teams
- Consultation with personal physicians and other medical
agencies to coordinate care of the missionary on the field
- Medications and medical equipment needed to allow the
missionary to continue to stay on the field
- Participation in missionary team preparation, team
building, communication, and conflict resolution.
- Psychiatric consultation
- Devotional services, pastoral counseling and support for
missionaries and mission teams on the field
- E-mail and telephone availability to missionaries on the
field, for counseling and medical consultation
For pastors and missionaries residing near South Carolina,
assessment of individual and marital counseling needs is
available through our Columbia, SC office.

MISSION STATEMENT
Godspeed is a Christ-centered faith ministry whose goal is to assist
Christian missionaries and pastors who are hampered by emotional stress,
situational conflict, or physical illness, to enable them to fulfill their
mission and calling.

STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, plenary, authoritative Word of God, and the one rule of doctrine and duty.
We believe in one triune God, eternally existing in three persons -God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit - co-eternal in being, co-identical in nature, co-equal in power and glory, and having the same attributes and perfection.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His substitutional and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His interceding for the saints, and His personal return in power and glory.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
We believe in one condition for eternal salvation, which is receiving the Lord Jesus Christ as personal Savior, and that salvation is by faith and not by works.
We believe that all the redeemed, once saved, are kept by God's power and are thus secure in Christ forever.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
