Reports and Experiences of the Godspeed Staff
"Running hot and cold...."
I ask your prayers for our next Godspeed trip, which starts tomorrow. I will be giving a presentation to the Gordon-Conwell Seminary branch in North Carolina this Saturday, then meet Karen in Texas where we will spend the following several days working with a missionary team preparing to go to Mozambique. Karen will then return home (she is in the midst of studying for several courses as she is pursuing a graduate degree in Biblical Counseling), and I will fly to South Africa via London, then to Mozambique (it is summer there - emphasis on hot) and continue to work with the team as they join their Mozambican team members .
I will then proceed back to London, where (hopefully) I will be joined by Godspeed team member Glenn Kellenbenz, and we will travel to Kiev (dead of winter, wouldn't you know) where we will work with the Ukrainian missionary team we have been blessed to know over the past several years. And then, back to London and Baltimore, home on February 15th. I am not sure whether to pack warm and take an ice pack, or pack cold and take a hot water bottle. Toasted or frozen, I know I will feel your prayers for safe travel. We are excited about this opportunity to again work with God's servants on the front lines of spreading the gospel.
I should be able to access e-mail intermittently throughout the trip, and will keep you updated on what we see God doing in these different places and climates. I am grateful to you for your prayers, and for those of you who helped make this trip possible...
Godspeed,
Barney
