Barney M. Davis, Jr., M.D., and
Karen G. Davis, RN,C
|
Barney M. Davis, Jr., M.D.
serves as Executive Director of Godspeed Missionary Care. A
graduate of the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston,
Texas, he has experience in both clinical practice and teaching
in the field of psychiatry and neuropsychiatry. A Christian since
1988, he has particular interest in the prevention and treatment
of stress and medical disorders encountered on the mission field.
He is past president of the Christian Medical Association
Psychiatry Section.
Karen G. Davis, RN,C serves
Godspeed as both nurse and counselor. Karen has been the director
of a crisis pregnancy center and has particular interest in issues
facing single women and pastors’ wives. In addition, she is a
co-therapist with Barney as they counsel couples. She has been
a Christian since childhood.
D. Glenn Kellenbenz joined
Godspeed soon after its inception in 1994. A recently retired
civilian employee of the US Navy, Glenn has received training in
Biblical Counseling, and along with his wife
Jane Kellenbenz, offers
individual and couples counseling from a biblical perspective.
Godspeed has access to other professionals and adjunct staff who
may be called upon in particular circumstances. Christian
financial counselors, family therapists, and physicians may be
used as consultants as the needs warrant.
