Other Sites of Interest
There are a number of organizations offering help to the
missionary and pastor. They vary in their emphasis, geographic
availability, and cost. Some provide housing for missionaries
on furlough or in need of counseling. The list below is neither
complete nor exhaustive, and we welcome input from you if you
know of similar providers that should be listed.
Missionary Resources Connection
Located in Columbia, South Carolina. As their name implies,
they are a host of connections to local and regional resources
particularly in the Southeast U.S. Godspeed also maintains a

OSCAR
OSCAR is an acronym for "The One Stop Centre for Advice and
Resources". If you're involved or interested in missionary or
Christian work overseas, OSCAR is your gateway to useful UK related

Mission Training International
A full service organization offering pre-field assessment and
training, counseling, re-entry assessment, special MK programs,

An intensive care community facility dedicated to restoration and
renewal, with both psychological and medical resources; located in

Marble Retreat
A beautiful retreat center providing care primarily for pastors
and their families, who may be in crisis. Some service to

Minnesota Renewal Center
A ministry of preparation, reparation, renewal and
reconciliation for missionaries, pastors, churches and Christian
organizations. Staff includes Christian psychologists,

Missionary Retreat Fellowship, Inc.
No counseling or therapy, just secluded houses for missionaries

Christian Ministry Service
of the Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services. Caring for
caregivers and their families. Addresses the mental health needs
of people in ministry, including a wide range of mental health
